JOB TITLE: Fleet Manger(1) (External) SALARY GROUP: 610 LOCATION: Western Cape
DEPARTMENT: Finance POST NUMBER: 1 REFERENCE: CMR/HR/REC/22-11/06
DEPARTMENTAL MISSION: To provide leadership expertise in providing efficient fleet services so as to contribute to achieving the regional customer service objectives. Administration of vehicle fleet,
procurement processes and procedures are adhered to in terms of the Supply Chain policy and the department’s compliance to Acts that govern procurement fleet, liaise with Departmental
Managers/HOD and ensure all departments optimise pool vehicles in accordance with fleet policy.
OUTPUTS: • Oversee maintenance of fleet
• Control and regulation of drivers performance and ensure verification credentials
• Liaise with service providers and Line Managers regarding the usage and distribution of vehicles.
• Manage vehicle accidents and related incidents
• The omission of specific duties does not exclude them from the position if the work is similar related, or logical assignment to the position.
