1.    OVERVIEW:
–    Ensuring that the creation, extension and changes to Material Master Stock Codes are done in accordance to cataloguing decision tree and according to Technical and Taxonomy Rules.
–    Complete and Accurate Stock code Descriptions, Enhancing of Stock Codes (master data) by completing Details such as Part Numbers, Manufacturing / OEM details, Correct Class Name allocation and Mandatory Characteristics populated.

2.    KEY RELATIONSHIPS:
–    Cataloguing Coordinators
–    End users and Planners
–    Procurement department

3.    QUALIFICATION & SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum Qualifications:
–    Relevant Technical Qualification N3 or higher

Additional Qualifications:
–    Advantageous to demonstrate post qualification studies or soft skills development

–    Multi-tasking and excellent management of time and priorities is essential
–    Strong verbal and written communication skills that work effectively within team and different audiences
–    Demonstrated, well-developed judgment and problem-solving skills
–    Self-driven and able to excel under pressure

–    Remains positive when under pressure, uncertainty and changing business conditions
–    Pro- active, committed and highly motivated
–    High level of attention to detail and data accuracy
–    A strong customer focus and ability to work in a global, demanding environment
–    Computer literate MS Office. Strong Excel & PowerPoint skills
–    French and/or Spanish language proficiency will be advantageous

Work Experience:
–    More than 5 years Cataloguing Experience, including minimum 2 years relevant experience with large corporate or mining company
–    UNSPSC and EOTD Experience

4.    GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITY:
–    Complete and Accurate Stock code Descriptions, Enhancing of Stock Codes (master data) by completing Details such as Part Numbers, Manufacturing / OEM details, Correct Class Name allocation and Mandatory Characteristics populated.
–    Analyze Stock Code to Identify Duplicates
–    Ensure compliance including:
o    Adhering to Master Data Taxonomy Rules
o    Adhere to Standard Value Rules
o    Adhere to Glencore Regulations, Policies and all Standard Procedures
–    Understand, Clarify and Question integrity of all stock Applications received from End Users
