- Minimum 5+ years SHEQ experience in a Mining environment at least at a Chief Safety Officer or SHEQ Manager Level.
Responsible for :- Ensure that competent persons are appointed as Safety Managers, Chief Safety Officers and Safety officers to meet the minimum requirement of legislation.
- Ensure that safety staff receive training where a need exists or is identified.
- Monitor legislative changes & compliance
- To ensure that Safety, Health, Environmental and Risk management systems, policies and procedures are in place.
